BoA is Featured in Akon’s Upcoming in Japanese Album

Singer BoA will be working with world renown pop star Akon for his Japanese album ‘Freedom+2′.

Akon debuted in 2004 with his first album ‘Trouble’ which sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

And this time he will be releasing a new album ‘Freedom+2′ which will include 13 songs from his 3rd album ‘Freedom’ released last December, but it will include 2 new songs ‘Beautiful’ featuring BoA and a reggae remix of the song.

And he had proposed for BoA to work with him on this album. Akon said, “I saw BoA during the ‘Spring Groove 09′ on 4th April for the first time. And I have worked with BoA for this new song ‘Beautiful’. If I have the chance to work with BoA or perform on stage with her again, it would be great.”

BoA also said, “I’m excited to be able to work with one of the top pop stars in the world. And personally I like the song ‘Beautiful’ and I enjoyed the recording of the songs a lot.”

The album ‘Freedom+2′ will be released in Japan on 5th August.
